BIO
I’m an editor, writer and reader, currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
I have worked on writing, editing and research projects in academic, corporate and non-profit contexts. My CV includes projects for the University of Melbourne, RMIT University, Deakin University, the Australian Drug Foundation, Aduki Independent Press, Vignette Press and the Emerging Writers’ Festival. I have considerable experience working on print- and web-based publications.
Since 2007 I’ve also worked as a lecturer and tutor in writing and editing at Deakin University.
I hold a BA (majoring in English and Philosophy) from the University of Melbourne and an MA (Professional Communication) from Deakin University.
In 2006 I was awarded a mentorship through the Australian Society of Authors, which I completed with the late Dorothy Porter.
My work has been published in books, journals, magazines, newspapers and websites in Australia, the UK, the US and elsewhere. My publication credits include The Age, Overland, The Australian Veg Food Guide and The Words We Found: The Best Writing from 21 Years of Voiceworks Magazine.
